Ray Lopes was inducted into the Clovis Hall of Fame in 2003 as the Citizen of the Year. Hired in 2002 as the new Bulldog men's basketball coach; he was honored for his integrity, values, and character. These characteristics allowed him to endure the pressures of the basketball season as he led the champion basketball team.
